Thanks for this great module, its been really helpful to my ubercart development.

I wanted to know if you would want to extend it so that the recipient can receive an email notification that someone has purchased a gift order for them. This of course would be beneficial for those using ubercart to sell intangible items such as online downloads, tickets to events, or even coupons like Groupon, which is what I am trying to mimic.

I added the email field to your module and was trying to get it accomplish using ubercarts Conditional actions, but there is none available. So, I've been trying to research this cause I really like to have this feature. Let me know what you think!
