Trying to enable the block you get: Javascript Countdown Timer must be installed for the block to be visible. Javascript Countdown Timer is obsolete; replaced with Javascript Timer. I haven't tried using it yet to see if it works, but at the very least, this is confusing.

Installing the Javascript Countdown Timer allows the block to appear. But I agree this is confusing.
