Once you download the module, you'll find a demo folder that contains an html file with a very nice demonstration.

I will also use this module on my coming site, unfortunately, that may be a bit far off.

Just check out the readme file and you'll get the answer to most of your questions.

You might have a look at Demonstration Site (Sandbox) module. Custom demonstration sites can be built easily now.
