Description
Why for Christ sake you've created this crap?

#1
Why do you think it's crap? Seems to be exactly what I need, albeit for Drupal 5.3.
Since you don't explain whether you dislike the intended function or whether you're complaining about bugs, I guess your issue is not to be taken serious.
While I'm writing here, what worries me is that the module is still in development. Will there be a stable release any time soon? If anyone reads this who has used the module, please add a comment and report whether it has worked well for you.

This module does exactly what I need. See also my support request on http://drupal.org/node/217298.
I also do not understand why "publish node permission" requires "admin content permission" which allows "create content" for all content types while "modify content" is still restricted.
It's a Columbus' egg! Very simple (everybody could have done that) and great idea (no one has had this idea before)! Very good job.

I just have to say the owner of this module just ROCKS. Yes, giving a blog user the ability to save the post as draft (unpublished) is very important to my site. Thanks for this module. I will test and even attempt on porting to D6!!!!
Thanks again!

How goes the porting?
