Im working on a site using uc_recurring.
I found a problem that if you disabled checkout review under checkout settings the ,Recurring Payments will not work anymore and it will treat the order as single item , I test that using
(In PPS)

I have the same problem. I spent HOURS fixing other things that might be the bug before i found that one. This module can not be used without that bug fixed. I'd appreciate your help or any workaround!

Just chiming in with a setup that works for me. I am using Recurring Products 2.0-alpha6 with Ubercart 2.7 with Optional Checkout Review (http://drupal.org/project/uc_optional_checkout_review) to "disable checkout review."

I think more detail is required here, like what payment gateways are being used, does it work when you switch to the test_gateway?

If I use this module: http://drupal.org/project/uc_optional_checkout_review it dose not redirect to payment method :(
