Hi all,
I'm currently running 7.x-1.2 (and also have the Views add-on for this installed). What's the best way to upgrade to 2.x-dev? Also, is the Views add-on compatible with this newer version? Thanks a lot, very useful module! :)

Hi, right now there is no upgrade scripts. to upgrade from 1.2 to 2.x.

But I will take a look at this.

The views add-on is not prioritized right now. But it will be a 7.x version when I have time.
My focus is to get a stable Linkit core first.

Hi anon,
I appreciate the response. So it sounds like if I want to upgrade, the best thing to do would be to de-active and uninstall linkit completely and then install 2.x as a fresh module. Would I technically loose anything that linkit had spit out in the WYSIWYG so far (or is that the part that you are talking about that you have not written yet)? Thanks!

You will probably lose your linkit settings.
The integration with the editors should still be the same, I.E you should not have to active linkit in the editor settings.

Also, 7.x-2.x in in heavy development, so I wouldnt recommend you to use it on a live site.

EDIT: No, you should not lose any data that you have inserted with Linkit.
