Hello,

6.x-2.1 was released long ago and 6.x-2.x-dev has had many important contributions since then. It would be great to get a 6.x-2.2 release.

I understand if Amitai's main focus is on 7.x and am offering to be a maintainer of 6.x-2.x branch (I use it mainly on groups.drupal.org but also other sites where it will not be feasible to upgrade for at least a few months if not longer...).

Hi greggles,

I'm going to see if I'm up to the challenge. I want to see if there's anything juicy in the RTBC queue, then we can see about a 2.2. Leaving this open to be sure I don't forget ;)

We have a blocker on OG release if #799856: Upgrade Notifications to 6.x-4.x is in fact Needs Work instead of complete.

Before this release can be created, we need to fix #1340638: Revert Notifications 4.x upgrade and #1353712: Fix the broken tests. Other low impact features and bug fixes oriented at stabilization or performance improvement might sneak in.
