I have a calendar feed that is importing from a google calendar ics and so far everything seems to be working correctly except for repeating events that have multiple days of the week listed.
for example, a repeating event in google is set up for "every monday" and "every wednesday" but when imported, only the "every monday" is coming through. when i look at the node for the imported event, the repeat rules only show "every monday" as selected in the "day of week" list.

is there anyone else experiencing this? is this something that i have set up incorrectly? or does anyone have a way to fix it?

Thanks!

I too am having a similar issue with this.

Essentially, when using an ics feed from Google Calendar, it does not see recurring events as individual events, it just sees them as the same event. So if Feeds is set to update existing nodes, it basically just keeps updating the same ones over and over.

In my case, there are a lot of moving parts to this - feeds, the ical parser for feeds, date, calendar - but it seems that Feeds would be where the issue is coming from because it isn't getting the right events in the first place.

The obvious solution is to just not use recurring events in Google but that doesn't work for my particular client.

Anyone have any suggestions on fixing this? I can provide more info for my case, if needed.

I'm also having this problem. I've set a number of events in my Google Cal to repeat for a number of weeks, though as hotsaucedesign says, only the first occurrence updates and no repeating events are showing. Tried everything , just can't figure out what needs updating/changing for this to work.

The only other solution is to set the repeat within Drupal itself, though for me, this is not suitable and just adds extra dates to the event and not a new event listing.

Has anybody found what's causing this, possible solution?

Thanks, Barry
