jeremy commentedPlease make the issue title descriptive to the problem you are reporting or feature you are requesting. Inaccurate or vaguely named issues tend to be misplaced.
In the 7.x-2.x branch we will be removing the state tabs altogether (ie "new", "active", "pending", "closed"), and instead will provide selectable filters. You will still be able to bookmark listings, and this will make it possible to view ie "active" and "pending" tickets together.
I'm not 100% sure i'm understanding your question, but hopefully the above will solve your issue.
