First, thanks for your module. It's a great usability improvement.
I'd like to let a picture explain my feature request for this module.
(please see attachment).

joel_guesclin commentedThere are several people asking for this! And I am quite interested in being to do that also - so I will try to see what I can do. But I am afraid it may be rather slow...

Stephan_M commentedGreat! Sorry that i am of no use. Can't code.
I'll happily be waiting patiently for your mod. :)
joel_guesclin commentedI've just loaded into HEAD a new release of taxonomy_switch, which I hope handles free tagging directories correctly when you use the "Classify" tab - I have done a few tests, but not exhaustive.
Note that this release is for 5.0 upwards - there doesn't seem much point in including new features in 4.7, especially since we will have to cope with 6.0 before long!
Let me know how you get along.

Stephan_M commentedCan anybody please backport this to 4.7 for all the noob users like me that are stuck with drupal4.7 ?
joel_guesclin commentedBut you are not "stuck" with 4.7 - the upgrade process has really been improved lately, and myself I would really suggest upgrading to 5.1 as soon as possible. At all events, despite the fact that most of my sites are running 4.7, I don't propose myself to do any work on 4.7 any more.
