Now they have the multiroot feature in gallery 2.2.X, any chance you could add a 2nd URL for anonymous users (only used if a URL is entered into that field)?

The main URL in your config setup could then just be used for users that have logged into drupal.

Multiroot functionality will be available in the Drupal 6 version of gallery module. It will be used for integrating G2 and OrganicGroups (see http://drupal.org/node/187747). In principle we could add your feature as well ... However I'm not sure I understand what you are proposing exactly. What should your 2nd url be/look like? Why is it needed and what are the benefits or use cases for such an option?
