Issue Summary
After installing Author Pane (I have Advanced Forum installed as well) any user image appearing in the pane on the left of each message or forum reply is no longer constrained in size. Looks as if it is displaying as full original size.
Attached is an image of the issue.

Did you set an image style to use?

I have the same exact issue
EDIT: Found out the issue.. If you set the image style it will only fix the original posters image size... the rest will still be oversized. This is because it is conflicting with the module that allows you to set user images to larger sizes in there profile but not in the post view of it.. (Cant remember what its called) because I have to many modules and cant seem to find it... lol
Should be a small amount of script to fix this but im not good enough yet to make a patch for it... Anyone else?
EDIT: Found it !! the module it is conflicting with is called "Imagecache Profile Pictures"

@brrman - Do you use Imagecache Profiles as well?

I've got the exact same problem, but i don't use the imagecache profile module ;)
I don't know if this post is any help..

Hmmm, strange...
Works for the block no problem, but not the Author Pane in Advanced Forums. Might be a bug in Advanced Forums use of Author Pane. Not quite sure.... Investigating.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think troky (AF maintainer) uses Author Pane, and neither do I. So it's possible something has changed in AF that's affected it.

Actually, this works! You just have to make sure the image style is re-saved in admin/config/content/advanced-forum.

Great that you could find the problem. I'm using AP and AF on a site and did not have this problem and could not find any errors in the code so it could have gone on a long time.

I check on my side too and the author pane does not seems to be using the image style set on the web site.... could be nice to have a UI dedicated where we can set this kind of settings.. thanksFound it ! Forget my post ! In Advanced forum.... but I look for the wrong image style option...
