Hello, I am using a mix of single and repeating-date events and need to use logic such as the following:

  • If single-date event, always display that single date.
  • If multiple-date event, handle in node display and in views as follows:
    • As long as there is still a future event in the series, display the closest upcoming date.
    • If all events in series have passed, display last date of the series.

My current problem is that filtering events out with the "Show X dates from: now" makes dates disappear from past single-date events and multi-date event series that have passed.

If there any way to configure this in the node display and views, or do I need a custom node template, custom view or computed field to implement this?

Thank you

did you ever find a solution for this issue? Im having the same problem but with trying to show the first & last dates in a series of repating dates, i.e. FROM - TO.

BUT no with views, rather using the display suite module to create a customised teaser.

thanks

Unfortunately the Drupal 6 version of the Date module is no longer supported. That said, we appreciate that you took time to work on this issue. Should this request still be relevant for Drupal 7 please feel free to reopen it. Thank you.
