While using Tiny mce the "add image" link of image assist is not directly under the "body" of the node. It is however under the plain text field entitled "Log message" of the node and winds up inserting an image there.
What is the bottom line with image assist and tiny mce? What do I need to do to get them to work together? I searched around but still cannot figure it out.

lreid commentedThis has been going on for some time--it started with the upgrade to 4.7 for me. If you click "disable rich text" then you can see the image assist icon. Not user friendly. I've never seen a solution. You can try the imce module, though then you lose the creation of nodes for images if that's what you want.

darren ohFollow the directions in step 6 of INSTALL.txt. You will have a button that looks like a camera to add to your TinyMCE tool bar.

lreid commentedAnd you can install the image assist plugin for tinyMCE and then you get a button in the tinyMCE toolbar for accessing image assist instead of having to rely on the button below the text window. Can't recall the details of how it's done--is there a drupalimage plugin in there with image assist, and you copy it to the tinyMCE plugin folder?
