I updated Brilliant Gallery 3.6 to 4.0 in Drupal 6.22.

All my galleries are now not working. I see the outline of the gallery but there are no thumbnails to click on.

In Recent Log Entries I see the following error:

page not found Nov 5 2011 - 12:11pm sites/default/files/bg_cached_resized_2eefdad2eff4c3 ...

When I go under manage galleries, I see the names of the gallery jpg files but no thumbnails. I used to see thumbnails in v3.6.

I've tried emptying drupal cache
I have followed all installation instructions including checking BG tag in input formats.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are the galleries in question from Picasa? If so, you could try deleting the files under your temp folder (configured under /admin/settings/brilliant_gallery), e.g. sites/default/files/tmp - this way BG will regenerate the files from Picasa. As far as I know clearing the Drupal cache only affects the Drupal DB, not the temporary files. A more drastic solution if the files are not from Picasa would be to change the name of the folder containing the files and change the tag in the node accordingly - that will at least tell you if something weird is going on with file caching or not.

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions. I do not have Picasa galleries but I will try the suggestions that you gave. I cleared the Drupal cache (which did not help) but I did not delete the tmp files. Changing the names of the gallery folder and the corresponding tag in the node is also a good idea, at least to rule out certain things. I will try the suggestions later and report back. Thanks. RG
