miro_dietikerDid you check
- if the vocabulary was chosen in the simplenews admin settings?
How to reproduce this? There's not enough information on how we can reach that situation you reported, sorry.

shaneonabike commentedHi there,
I'm actually experiencing this issue. The first category that was created is available but any other categories (newsletters) that I create are not available.
I have done the following:
* Created it through teh proper interface (not through the taxonomy)
* Double-checked the newsletter category field to see that it was available (it is)
When creating a new newsletter node only the first item appears? Weird.. any help would be awesome.
@miro_dietiker: You made a suggestion above but it was a bit unclear. What do you mean if the vocabulary was chosen in the admin settings? It is set in the field settings properly and the new category is appearing in the vocabulary as well.
Thanks!

berdirThat setting is no more.
Check the newsletter vocabulary, do the terms exist? Can you reproduce this with a new installation? Is this a new installation or an upgraded installation, if upgraded, from which version?

sahuni commentedI have same problem too.
It's working in local, with a test website but in real, for a website with i18n, I can't see the category when I try to create a newsletter issue. Is there something special with multilanguage?

sahuni commentedSorry, investing more, I discover I had to change the multilingual options in the vocabulary Newsletter. If I choose a fixed language (French) it works and for me it's enough. By default, the value was someting like "no multilingual option for terms. Only vocabulary will be translated (my translation of text, not drupal one's, sorry if not exact). So it's clear that Drupal was not able to give terms list for creation of newsletter in French, which is my default language.

heyehren commentedI have the same issue. The categories don't appear when adding a new Newsletter. I can only see the label of the field, but no terms listed to choose from.
What i did previously to this issue was the following.
I disabled the module because i thought i won't need it anymore. Then i deleted the simplenews content type and the simplenews vocabulary, and deinstalled the module on the deinstall tab.
Then, when i decided to use the module anyway i installed it again, and since this the categories are not showing anymore.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
