I have am trying to customise the theme with lots of success except for the one issue. I cannot place a block on the header region. I have removed the background header image and would now like to place a block with content glider module to create a slide show on this region.

Please help.

I have added a new region to the theme in the header area for those looking to have content or blocks instead of the default header image.

Just remove the background image from the #header selector in the style.css file on line #29 and you should be good to go.

This update is currently reflected in the dev release. I will be pushing a full release update sometime tonight probably once I clear the issue queue.
