batch sync flashing and extreme slow

Issue Summary

Hello,

Is this normal that the batch sync flashing every second and working extreme slow? It is running for many hours. Magento and Drupal running on a fresh Linode VPS on the same server.
On the magento side I have only some test content, so the db is not so big.
