Thanks for providing this module.

I'd like to ask / suggest (if you, and the community, find it valuable), whether you could enhance the module to offer a default role which will be assigned to a new user upon registration (similar, I believe, to User Autorole: http://drupal.org/project/user_autorole).

If list of possible roles has not been assigned for the user to chose during registration, then the default role shall take affect behind the sense.

I think it will be useful if I'll have a way to control what role should be assigned automatically

Combining this module with http://drupal.org/project/autoassignrole which already provides the functionality you request (get it from cvs head with the latest bug fixes) ... look for more soon
