I'm using metatags-quick and the following token modules:

  • Entity tokens (7.x-1.0-rc1)
  • Token (7.x-1.0-beta7)
  • Token Filter (7.x-1.x-dev)

In the MetaTags Quick config, we've set description to be automatically generated from the Body summary field. The body summary default is set to:
[site:name] - blah blah blah - [node:field_artist_name] - [node:title]
The site name token is properly rendered in the meta description, but the other two are not.

D7 reached its EOL back in January 2025, and there is no active release for D7 for this module anymore.
Development or support is not planned for D7. All D7-related issues are marked as outdated in a bunch.
