Is it possible to translate the title and description of gallery photo to be different for different site languages - i dont see such a option 10x in advance.

I too would like that function. If I could I would do it myself, but I have no idea where to begin.

I assume, that translating media-fields is not a task of media_gallery.

There is a module media_translate, but i think it is not useful, until the issue / feature request #1331818: Translations based on same file is added.
