Unable to finish installation Drupal 7.10

I have installed Drupal on my webserver, however, the installation can't be completed. When I finished the last questions in the installation program, I'm receiving a fatal error message which says the following
Fatal error: Call to undefined function field_attach_load() in /home/.../domains/.../public_html/includes/entity.inc on line 320

I have re-installed Drupal for many times now, but I'm still receiving this message.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to solve this?

A quick search on your error message turned up the following post http://drupal.org/node/481758. A couple of suggestions there were:

Your PHP maximum script execution time is set too low for the installation to complete. Check your php.ini file and increase the max_execution_time parameter.
Your PHP memory_limit parameter may be set too low. Drupal 7 requires a minimum of 32MB PHP memory to run, but some installations may require 64MB or more. See http://drupal.org/requirements for details.

If neither of these ideas solve your problem, please provide us with:

Operating system and version
Database server and version
Web server and version
PHP version

You might also check your web server error logs to see if anything is reported there.

This is my websever logs, pls check it and see if u can help me detect and solve my challenge of completing installation, configuration. Each time I use www.platiniumglobalventures.com/install.php to install. I have created a new database, fill in the relevant fields in the configuration page, but each time I try to save it and receive the login details , I see a blank page instead of a page notifying me that my installation was complete. Unable to install drupal 7.12

Operating system--windows home basic Sp-2
Database Server -Mysql 5
Web server--xampp-win32-1.7.3.exe
PHP Version 5.3.1

when ever i try to install drupal 7.12 it shows an error call in file entity.inc line 320..please reply me as soon as possible

It is throwing an error about 3 seconds after clicking submit on the final screen.
I increased the php.ini settings and stopped/restarted the server.
Out of curiosity I downloaded and was able to install Drupal-6.22 without issue which leads me to believe it's not my server setup... but I am open to suggestions!

1) I forgot to change the settings.php to write mode.
2) After doing so tried installing about 5 times before looking at the DB - dropped all the tables, re-downloaded, reset perms on settings.php and it installed without issue.

This was with php.ini settings increased btw.

It is throwing an error about 3 seconds after clicking submit on the final screen.
I increased the php.ini settings and stopped/restarted the server.
Out of curiosity I downloaded and was able to install Drupal-6.22 without issue which leads me to believe it's not my server setup... but I am open to suggestions!

I was a beneficiary of this error after adding code from http://drupal.org/node/158043 to force error display, into install.php - previously a blank screen. Difficult to say at what point it went wrong in the first place but the ultimate solution was to simultaneously drop & recreate the database and delete & replace settings.php. Several hours of extra fiddling with settings had no impact at all on the system-side of the interface.

(For info - fresh everything - Drupal minimal 7.10, PHP 5.3.3, Postgresql 8.4.8, Apache 2.2.9, Debian Squeeze.)

I'm walking into the same error with newest WAMP and Drupal 7.10. All rights to everyone for the default folder and all files below does not solve the install problem. Database rights, all enabled. Nothing seems to work, although I could install Drupal on an other machine without this problem. I'm using a localhost that is given access over TCP port 80 (not UDP). I can not find out the difference with my other machine, also running XP pro. The only difference is the database user. It was successfull with ROOT and now not with XXX and same rights. What could cause this problem?

Solved: After creating the database with PhpMyAdmin and extracting the 7.10 files to a subfolder of www, and copying the defaut.settings to settings -> reboot the computer before running the install script! Perhaps restarting WAMP is also enough.

I have created a new database, verify the necessary parameters, type in my Coy name, site email and fill in the relevant fields in d configuration, yet when I try to save it and get my login details, It will show a blank field. Instead of telling me that my installation was complete.

Look at the database type. Damn utf8mb4 as uft8, and I struggled for several days.

I ran into this as well and thought it might be a module-weight issue. When I examined the database I discovered that only three entries in the system table had status 1 (enabled)-- user, system, and bartik. I deleted the site & database and started fresh and everything worked. On the second install I noticed the batch-processing bar during the installation process, which I don't specifically recall seeing the first time through. Might be that the install aborted silently? I chose "standard" profile each time. Unfortunately I didn't have PHP error log on at the time.

Fixed it here. Try this.

In database settings, the tab Config, choose radio button for latest version of PHP. Restart Drupal. Delete and import your site.

Fixed it for me. Give it a go.

I was helping someone setup Drupal 7, and started getting this error. I realized he had PHP 5.2.1.7 installed. After installing 5.3, everything worked great.

I have researched this and related issues - often collectively referred to as "The 31 Tables Problem", because it interrupts the table creation process before all 73 or so tables are loaded. See this comment for a semi-exhaustive list of things that have helped people work through this issue. If your fix does not appear in my list, contact me and I will add it to the comment.

It seems that in the INSTALL.mysql.txt there is only SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, CREATE, DROP, INDEX, ALTER privileges given to database user.
Just did GRANT ALL. Solved the issue.

I faced the same error message:

I am installing Drupal 7.
on a Linux shared hosting environment with:
MySQL 5.0.95
PHP 5.2.17
and using Firefox 15.0.1 browser.

(Minimum system requirements for Drupal 7 as stated here:
http://drupal.org/requirements
MySQL 5.0.15 or higher with PDO
PHP 5.2.5 or higher (5.3 recommended) )

I tried again:
- using Chromium 18.0.1025.151 for Ubuntu 10.04
- deleted database and user, and recreated them. deleted the Drupal folder and made a new one. made a new user and database.

Installation went smooth and successful!
