I swear if acidfree had this functionality it would perfect. I'm using acidfree now in my CMS that I'm deploying for clients. Often they have photo galleries, portfolios, etc and the ability to reorder images easily is huge for me. Is there any possibility that someone could add AJAX reordering?

fancier ajax stuff would be really nice. I am thinking this might be more on the order of Acidfree 6, though.

I would certainly accept patches if anyone else wants to work on this. :)

I understand. I was more putting it out there to everyone. You've done a fantastic job with acidfree already.

Any type of custom reordering would be most welcome. I would even appreciate a weighting system like drupal's.

As for reordering, I recall someone else talking about the weight module. You might want to check that out for custom ordering.

Title: Drag and Drop reordering » Add some AJAX to the user interface

We have a request for an AJAX pager as well (http://drupal.org/node/140489) so I am combining the two into one feature to add some AJAX stuff.

I think a well designed application could really take advantage of AJAX. But I am only about 5 months behind in rewriting acidfree 5, so this might be an acidfree 6 thing. Maybe sooner if I can manage. Or somebody else could write it.

Would Dynamicpager (jstools) be good for it?
