No settings [#1371284]

Settings are not present at

admin/settings/advpoll

In fact in no version of Advanced Poll for 6.x have I ever had any, nor have I seen a Votes tab after selecting to view them.

Am I doing something wrong?

When you have the proper permissions, you should see something like this when you view a Binary or Ranking Poll node page:

The admin settings page should show up in your admin menu (if you have that module turned on) and is only available to those with normal admin privileges. If you replaced an existing version of Advanced Poll with this latest revision, you will want to run update and flush your caches. Assuming it's not a permission problem, you should then be able to navigate to the settings page.

Let me know if that helped. The project is still in dev, so I'm anxious to hear if this may be a deeper problem. I know when I initially created the admin functionality I had to do some cache clearing to get it working.

Running update fixed the settings issue. I really like that by the way. Thank you.

But I still have no Votes tab,

no tab

See. I have been using every dev since June. I have never see that tab. I at one pint gave all my roles permissions to view it but no go. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong. I even uninstalled Advanced Poll and reinstalled when I tried 6.x-2.x.

Any Ideas?

That's really odd. If you don't mind, can you try this for me in a test environment.

1. Set voting to unlimited.
2. Vote a bunch of times. You should be able to cast another vote on a poll after a page refresh.
3. Check in admin to see if a votes tab shows up on the poll's node page.

The only other thing I can think of may be theme related. Could you let me know what theme you're using so I can test that out and see if there's something odd going on there.
