It seems that I can insert videos from normal and plus accounts, but if you try to insert a video from a 'pro' account it won't even generate the thumbnail. Anyone has the same problem?.

ergophobe commentedI have the same problem, but I don't think the module can do anything about it. If you put in the URL in the standard form when you're on Vimeo itself, it denies access, all the URLs are different.
Vimeo Pro is, it appears, quite a hassle actually.
For example, when you get your embed code, it gives a link to your vimeo user page. If you're not logged in, that link returns a 404!
I understand why Vimeo wants to keep commercial stuff out of the community/search listings, but why someone can't give out the URL and have people go there is beyond me.

ergophobe commentedPoking around on the Vimeo site, it will be possible to do this, but for now things like Portfolio are not in the Vimeo Advanced API.
I think you could authenticate (oAuth) and go to a pro user page, but in the case of Vimeo, going Pro makes everything much more difficult.

There is a Drupal oAuth module - http://drupal.org/project/oauth - but much as I'd like to see this, I think work on this should wait until the Vimeo API is updated
