I know I'm revealing myself as the Newbie of Newbies here, but in a search of the documentation here and the book I'm using (Drupal 7, The Definitive Guide), I could not find a clear indication.
I have just installed Quickstart 1.0, 64-bit for Windows 7, and I don't see any reference to Drupal when I open up Quickstart on the virtual desktop. Do I still need to install Drupal 7 for Ubuntu, or do I have what I need already with the Quickstart installation? The Quickstart instructions on Drupal.org suggest a password for Drupal and to "Start developing!", but I don't yet see where such a password might be entered.
I don't doubt this is covered somewhere that here that I couldn't find, so a link is fine.
Thanks in advance.

The only thing I found with google is http://groups.drupal.org/node/151419 where is this doc you refer to on drupal.org?Found it. http://drupal.org/project/quickstart and based on that list it doesn't include any version of drupal that I can see. It's a development environment. you would download drupal with it's drush integration I'd guess.
Installing Drupal for use with Quickstart
Thank you for your reply.
I'm not exactly sure what it means to "download drupal with its drush integration."
Should I download drupal from within the virtual machine, and if so, are there specific instructions somewhere on how to do that, and where to put the files, etc.? I assume there are, but unless the documentation says, "This is the particular method you need for using Drupal with Quickstart," then I'm hesitant to select it.
Thanks again.

I've never used quickstart but http://drupal.org/node/819398 seems to be the doc you want.
