I need my forwarded emails to not include nodes, but just a basic text saying "you have new content, click here to view it". I need to be able to use a simple [node-path] token, and possibly [title] or others.

How can I achieve this?

The basic text can be incorporated into the forward template. The README has info on customizing the template.

Currently, the module does not support tokens - so I am changing this to a feature request.

Has there been any further development to the Drupal 7 tokens integration? I am currently in need of this module to pull in profile fields including user photos?
