hello

I can't find the probably existing way to set / reset view permission for a field (file field in this case) in a specific node. Would you please give me some hint?

This module doesn't work on field level. For that you have to use Field Permissions.

It looks that there is no module allowing to restrict access to certain files / images per role. What I think about is having checkboxes beside each file/image where to select the roles to have view access to the according entry.

Is it possible to use the field permissions and content access modules together?
