I downloaded module and unzipped but I cannot find README.txt file in folder. On the main project page is mentioned that more information about the module should be in readme file.

The module is quite good documented on project page but you mentioned that there is is more information in README file so I don't know whether I am missing some interesting information in this file.

I was also unable to locate the README.txt in Drupal 7 (rc3).

Hmm, no module updates since September 11, has the module been abandoned? This seems like a very simple thing to fix.
