I'm not actually sure if this is a bug report or feature request, but the accordion menu module does not pick up the menu classes that are added via the Menu Attributes (7.x-1.0-rc1) module.
My normal menu block shows the custom classes I've added to the high-level menu items, but in the accordion menu block, these classes are not printed. Also the menu item ID numbers like
<li class="first expanded active-trail active menu-mlid-549">
are not appearing either.
I have a menu that is supposed to have each menu item as a different color, so I have no way of theming individual menu items.

My assumption is that these unique classes & IDs should work with the accordion menu module, but perhaps this is a feature request.

Integrate with menu_attributes module is implemented in this commit.

CSS classes are implemented in this commit.

Please grab the latest dev release (created after this comment) or commit to 7.x branch, test, and report back.
