I tried to make this work (but with no success).

Especially, I could not perform the 'Making it work' step in the documentation, cause I could not understand what to do with:

* Other stuff, yada yada yada. Yes, still very much in development.

So, yeah, I know this is in development, and am abandoning this module ATM. I am reporting this so this issue will not go away when the status of this module is improved, cause it has the potential to be a great module!

Yeah, the "yada yada yada" is something like "it should work now, but hey I can think of a million things that could go wrong."

I understand that, but without proper documentation, I can't even report a bug.

For example, using the development module (as advised) I did not get any effect when clicking on the image. Using the stable version, I did get some square floating on the screen but nothing besides that..

So, I guess I am missing something, but I don't know where to start from.

Based on your and others feedback, I've unreleased the project as it's not stable enough. Unfortunately, I can only really accept patches at this stage.

Anyway, don't get me wrong. I *need* this functionality, and this module may be great when it stabilizes.

I will try to use image-cropping functionality from dhtmlgoodies.com, and if it becomes worth it, I'll post it as a module.

BTW, I've seen other cropping tools in Drupal. I *think* there is a "user image" module (or something like that).

I had the cropper going about a year ago, but in turning the cropper into a jquery plugin, and trying to do AJAX stuff there is a lot more that can go wrong now.
