Environment

Using the following environment: 1.) A Drupal 6 installation with the node export module (6.x-3.0-rc3) working. 2.) A Drupal 7 installation with feeds (7.x-2.x-dev) and node export (+feeds) (7.x-3.x-dev).

Problem

I would like to export some nodes from the D6 Site to the D7 site. Creating the CSV within the D6 site seems to be no problem, but importing into the D7 environment is quite tricky: I am only able to import one node at once. If the csv has more than one node only the last one will be imported.

Tested several importer settings, even the out-of-the-box node export import importer doesn't work. With the "normal" node feed importer I made everything work fine except the bulk import:

Ende August wollen wir diese neue Webpage, selbstverst&auml;ndlich auch wieder mit Blog, pr&auml;sentieren. Erweitert wird dieses um einige spezielle Funktionen, z.B. eine sch&ouml;ne &Uuml;bersicht &uuml;ber Veranstaltungen zum Thema in Ober&ouml;sterreich und einer besseren Aufbereitung von Basis-Informationen f&uuml;r Social Media-EinsteigerInnen.&nbsp;<br />
Im Web geht es allerdings rasant weiter und das nicht nur bei <a href=""http://sende-zeit.de/2011/07/26/google-plus-alles-neu/"">Google+</a> ;-) Darum gibt es zwischenzeitlich trotzdem einige sehr interessante Links. Diese sammle ich derzeit mit Scoop.it, einen netten neuen Tool. Watch out: <a href=""http://www.scoop.it/t/kirche-2-0"">Kirche 2.0 auf Scoop.it</a>.&nbsp;</p>

When I try to import the nodes, only the last one will be imported. What do I do wrong? Help would be much appreciated. I mean, if i have to import the nodes seperatly I also could do it manually within the add/node form. Many greetings and thanks in advance.

With these modules I am able to export my nodes in CSV format from D6, and import them to D7, using a feed:

  • Node export 6.x-3.2
  • Feeds 7.x-2.0-alpha4
  • Job Scheduler 7.x-2.0-alpha2+3-dev

Perhaps if you try these versions it might work for you? I don't have the Node Export module in my Drupal 7 installation, it works fine without for me without it.

There is no guid column in your CSV file, which you have set as unique. This causes the GUID value to be the same for all rows and will make Feeds think that every row is an update of the previous one. Ultimately, this results that only the data from the last row remains.

I just wanted to add a +1 and a thank you for @MegaChriz's comment #3 above.

In our case, in the source xls file, someone had unwittingly added a character to the header/label for the column we were mapping to GUID. As a result, that column was ignored by Feeds, so there was no source GUID field, causing Feeds to only import or update the last row.
