I have been looking at the recent releases of Skinr and am reasonably happy with how things are progressing.

I can see how we can reduce overhead and code duplication by moving some of the theme settings into Skinr - these would mostly be the style settings that ship with Corolla, AT Commerce, Pixture Reloaded and Sky (such as fonts and headings, box shadows, rounded corners etc).

How I actually do this is another thing - it may be better to create a module of advanced styles, rather than including this stuff with the actual theme, however that creates TWO dependencies in an already complex stack. Certainly many users will simply not want this stuff in the core theme (for many they will be redundant).

In all probability I will do an extra module that simply includes a tonne of additional Skinr driven styles that can be applied to any theme.

I could not identify a suitable use case for Skinr in the core theme, surely useful for sub-themes.
