Promote Drupal elections

In addition to #1423156: Mail outs about Drupal Association elections, we need to do broad promotion about the 2012 DA at large elections using available media:

• drupal.org. Front page post: http://drupal.org/node/1423736.
• association.drupal.org and Drupal planet: posted to https://association.drupal.org/node/14558.
• g.d.o
• DA and Drupal social media sites
  • Nothing yet about the elections at http://twitter.com/drupalassoc. Who posts there?
  • Need a post about the all candidates meetings at http://www.facebook.com/pages/Drupal/8427738891. Who posts there?
• Personal blog and social media sites. Need to reach out to DA board members to promote elections via their personal channels.

Aims of promotion include: ensure Drupal community is aware of elections, candidates, and very short timeline.

Messages should include:

• Where to find out about candidates: candidates page, https://association.drupal.org/nominations
• How to participate in discussion:
  • All candidates meetings: http://groups.drupal.org/node/206703 and http://groups.drupal.org/node/206708.
  • Review candidate profiles at https://association.drupal.org/nominations
  • Post and review at http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-association
• Dates of voting: Feb. 3 - 7. Watch association.drupal.org home page for links to voting.
• How voting will work: ranking of all candidates.

We need someone to take the lead on this promotion.
