When I use a date repeat with the attached display settings (showing one value only), in the node I always see the first date, although it is in the past. See the repeats attached. In this case "Tue 31.01.2012 20:00" is showing instead of "Tue 28.02.2012 20:00", which is the next one.

This doesn't happen when I use a view and show only one value.

That is not a bug, that is the way it works. There is a feature request to make other choices possible.
