I have several views pages setup using display suite / views display.

When updating to display suite 2.1 from the latest 1.x version we had one views display not rendering and the rest were fine.

Looking into the layout settings for that views page we found that all of the fields were now disabled. When we tried to rebuild the display suite layout we found that no changes were being saved.

Set views title or any other field to the top, middle, left, etc... and it would move there via visually but upon save it would give you a message saying it was saved successful message but all of the fields were set back to disabled.

The only difference between this view display and the others was that the views name was longer then the rest. taxonomy_restaurant_listing did not work but taxonomy_living_listing did. I found in an unresolved "need more info" thread about something similar but indicated features as a potential issue and they thought it might be due to variable length.

As a result I cloned the view and shortened the name to rlisting and the views display began working and accepting changes to the rendered fields.

I have not had time to find out why the views title length would matter but that is the only reason that I could find why some views displays were working and that one was not.

This should be fixed in the next release. In the interim, you can alter the 'type' field in the 'ds_settings' table to be 64 characters long instead of 32.
