Hi!

i know that for every profile type i can create a different register path.

but i want to allow to my user select which ROLE it's gonna be on the website.

for example, on register, select: programmer, designer, seo, etc..

each option is related to different role and differente profile type.

how can this be done? thank u

I have two member roles which users can choose between at registration (via the Profile 2 Registration Path module).

I now want to allow users to add the other role at a later stage (so they will have 2 roles). At the moment they can simply fill in the profile2 fields for the second role, but they can't set the role itself. There doesn't seem to be anywhere where users can change roles and I can't figure out how to create a rule.

Can anyone help please?

Yes what if the user wants to change their profile type, it doesnt make sense for them to have to create a new account !

There are other modules that let users choose roles.

Yes, but we want to change the profile type as well, so our custom profile fields for that profile type will become available

It sounds like what you're trying to do is covered by http://drupal.org/project/party.
