upgrading from alpha-6 to alpha-8 caused rewrite code to render improperly.

one thing I noticed were line breaks, which don't show up anymore.

downgrading to alpha-6 resolved the problem.

I get exactly the same error as you described after upgrading to alpha-8

@ #1, there is no error described in the OP.

I strongly advise against using versions prior to alpha8 due to security vulnerabilities.

This is not a bug. It is merely a default filter added to the field which can be changed through configuration.

most of the html I use in rewrite choices seems to be filtered? Where can I change this behavior?
