In a protected forum, if I enter a user as moderator who wouldn't have any access rights otherwise, this user can now see the forum, but the forum appears empty.
Likewise, if I give him view access through a role, he can now see the topics in the forum, but he still doesn't get any edit links.
Something is broken here! The nodes don't seem to know about the user being an administrator...

salvisIs this a bug or am I misunderstanding how it should work?

ryivhnn commentedSimilar problem -- although in my case it's an open forum with a user set up as a moderator who may as well not be for all the moderating powers they get given (which is to say none at all :)
Wondering if I'm missing something as well oO

Drennyn commentedThis is happening for me as well. If I take a user who normally only has read and post access to a forum, and add them as a forum's moderator...nothing changes. The user can't do anything they normally wouldn't be able to do. That is, they can read topics, add topics and edit their own topics--they can't edit anyone else's topics however.
