Hello,
PATHAUTO makes ALIAS for node created by LEECH MODULE but my SITEMAP if full of NODE LINKS instead of CLEAN URLS.
What can I do?! How to put the URLS created by Pathauto in my sitemap?
Thanks.

wwwoliondorcom commentedSorry for the wrong subject line. Actually PATHAUTO makes alias but they are not in the sitemap, why?
gregglesI'm changing the title to be a bit more descriptive.
I think this is probably a problem with the site map module that you are using. Can you confirm which module that is?
If you manually create an alias what happens?
Also, please don't use all caps unless you are describing something that is all caps itself e.g. README.txt.

wwwoliondorcom commentedThanks for reply.
I tried both official release and dev of sitemap module for drupal 5.
A manually created node appears with it's full name in sitemap but not the ones created by leech.
Any idea?

wwwoliondorcom commentedAlso when I edit a node created by leech (just edit and save again without changing anything in the node) then the clean url will be in the sitemap.
wwwoliondorcom commentedI tried to create manually a blog, a story, and a page, and they all appear as node/ in the sitemap, as when the node is created by leech.
And if I want these manually created nodes to appear with the full clean url in the sitemap I have to click edit, then save again.
So I wonder why doesn't sitemap use the clean url before I save a node for the second time.

gregglesReassigning because it's not clear to me that this is caused by pathauto, especially given the comments in #5.

philsward commentedI am also having the same problem, however, I am NOT using 'pathauto'...
Sitemap ver 5.x-1.x-dev (June-16th Release)
I have tried both the 1.10 and the dev above, resulting with the same problem. Any new nodes after installing sitemap are not taking. If I uninstall the module then re-enable and re-configure it, the aliases show up, BUT only for a while... they then go back to the 'node/n' format automatically. This is happening on several different drupal installs, not just one specific case. I have certain modules that are similar between them, but I have no idea if any one specific module is conflicting with the sitemap module...
Just my two-cents...

philsward commentedOh, another thing... If I re-save the page, it does nothing to 'fix' the problem. Only uninstalling and re-installing the module fixes the problem, but again, this is only temporary...

philsward commentedLast followup... lol
If I change the url alias name to something else, like 'about -> about1', submit the page, then change it back 'about1 -> about' it will change the sitemap. Hope that gives more direction to the problem :)

frjo commentedThis is still the wrong project!
My site map module doesn't show nodes at all so you must be using some other module that you for some reason call site map.
I mark is as closed until someone put it in the right project.

gregglesIs this the right one?

darren ohComment #16
philsward commentedUhh... no, I have posted the issure for the CORRECT module... you call it 'xml sitemap'... I call it 'sitemap' it used to be called 'gsitemap'... whatever, it's right freakin module and I am having issues with the aliases / clean URL's or whatever you might call it, showing up as 'node/n'
Also, how can the 'xml sitemap' module not show links to 'nodes' if there is no clean url added for it? it's not like 'node/3' is magically a different link... ?!??

gregglesPhil - I think you're a bit confused and that you've taken an overly aggressive tone which is not helpful to anyone in trying to solve the problem.
When you submitted the issue it was in the "Site Map" issue queue.
But as you so clearly stated in your last response the problem is with the gsitemap/xmlsitemap module.

darren ohThis is a duplicate of issue 143994, as noted in comment #6.

philsward commentedNo worries... sorry for the bad tone... I was tired last night and cranky... sorry if I offended anyone... I'll keep my mouth shut and just watch for dev releases in hopes that the issue is resolved :)
