Since Legend works with Pages and Content Panes, I would like to have this extended to Blocks as well. This way, the legend can be in a number of different places and people will be able to use this to describe what is going on. From where I stand this can work through the Views Module, and you can have an option to select the legend in there and this will be displayed properly.

No, blocks will NOT help you do that, because a block can only be placed once for an entire site.

Unless a patch is provided, I'm marking this "won't fix" since the Panels integration already solves this problem.

I use the homebox module (also used on drupal.org for "your dashboard") combined with organic groups, and with no block support I can't put a legend under my group blocks on group homepages. I imagine there are other modules out there that allow you to place blocks anywhere independent of the blocks admin page.

I've volunteered to help clean up the FullCalendar issue queue. As part of that effort I'm closing issues open for unsupported versions of the module as "Closed (outdated)". That includes any Drupal 7-compatible versions because no active maintainer is supporting them.

If this issue is still relevant for version 3.x of FullCalendar, then feel free to re-open it and update the issue version number.
