I'd like to enable people to upload Microsoft Office files. According to my last count Microsoft Office 2007 uses the following extensions:

doc dot
docx docm dotx dotm

xls xlt
xlsx xlsm xltx xltm xlsb xla

ppt pot pps
pptx pptm potx potm ppam ppsx ppsm sldx sldm thmx

Duplicate of #149789 for which I just committed the fix. Works better, longer and uncut in current CVS HEAD (soon-to-be 5.x-2.0).
