Folowing :
#1030648: No pager when "Hide pager if there is only one slide" is active
#1168658: Add simple numeric pager to Views Slideshow.
"Hide pager" has been partially fixed on dev but not "hide controls". And both settings need to take care of "Items per slide" option, currently it only consider 1 item per slide, here is a patch suggestion.
