I'm surprised I can't find any questions, issues, or documentation on this, so perhaps I'm missing something key?
Use case:
- An instructor offers a course, with two sections
- Section 1 runs each Monday for 12 weeks; section 2 runs each Wednesday for 12 weeks
- Only want one node to announce and describe course, since only difference between sections is the date
- Require 2 repeating dates on a single node (or a complex set of node relations)
But, when you select a repeating date widget, the "Number of values" selector disappears from the date field configuration. So I assume it is very intentional that one can have either "a list of dates" OR "a repeating date", but not "a list of repeating dates".
Another (common, I'd think) use case might be a single date field, which might be used for either repeating dates or a list of dates, depending on the end user's needs.
Am I correct, or missing something?
Is there a structural (data model) reason for this or is has it just not ever been needed by anyone before me?
and many many thanks for one of Drupal's finest and most flexible modules!!

damienmckennaWe're sorry but the D6 release of Date module is no longer being supported. You are encouraged to update to Drupal 7 or 8, or direct questions to Drupal Answers.
