Hello, after installing this module when I search my site name it has gone from being ranked 6th to pretty much disappearing. It's still ranked when I search URL but is now very very low. Any ideas?

Relationships between technical measures (including setting meta tags) made on site, and its ranking in search engines, is not straightforward, and changes all the time. There could be too many reasons for the dropped ranking, from changed google algorithm to bad external linkage.
No technical solution (including metatags_quick) can fix that

But the drop happened literally the day after I installed and set up this module. I'm wondering whether I've set something incorrectly?

It's easy to check - switch module off and see what happens.
Ranking changes much, much slower than on a daily basis

Right, i've had it switched off two days now. The home page has now gone back to 7th in the search results... Any help on how i may have used the settings incorrectly?
