I have a number of projects stuck in D6. I've searched the issue list and documentation this morning looking for what limitations we might run into with doing a responsive design using Adaptive Theme 6.3x.

I wonder if someone could comment on this topic before we full blown dive in.

thanks, bob

Nothing really, as long as you are using fluid layouts and you can write the media queries yourself etc there should be no real issues to encounter you won't otherwise. 6.3x. is a good theme and I should release it as stable.

Good, when do you plan to release the final 6.x-3.0?

When I have time :)

I'm just wondering why there is still no fully-working official D6 release. The current recommended D6 release - 6.x-2.2 - is two years old (from 2010-Mar-27) and does not include the fix to support Skinr which has been committed on 2010-Apr-06.

So I think there is an urgent need to either release 6.x-2.3 or 6.x-3.0.

There is, what are you talking about?

Dude, Skinr is a feature, an additional layer, the theme does not rely on Skinr, never has and NEVER WILL.

I will release things when I have time - respect that please.

Sorry that I was not correct. Sure, Skinr is not a requirement, but it gives the theme much more power. No stress!
