If German translation is active the buttons are not positioned correctly. Looks likely to be caused by the absolute positioning of the buttons. And text is also cut off. It means "Vorheriger", but only "Vorherig" is displayed.

Can we use abbreviations here? Even in English we don't try to fit the whole word 'previous'. If not that we could just get rid of the text altogether or make it optional. Whatever solution you want, I need a proposal for how to solve it. Making the fields wider is not going to work in all themes or situations either.

You *must* expect that a translation create buttons of other size. This is real live... :-) I'm strongly against adding another dumb context to this buttons.

Is there anyone who can tell how to alter the translations? I would like to change it to << and >> like it is in a block. That should be easy to understand too.

I tried "Translate Interface" at the Configuration page but it appears not to be possible.

Is there another way?
