Update module from 4.7 to 5.1

I need Drumm's Recommended Nodes module upgraded from 4.7 to work with 5.1 for a site I'm setting up.

(This is not the same module as the CRE (Content Recommendation) module and doesn't do the same thing, by the way. Drumm's module allows site members to hit a button in the sidebar and directly recommend posts as "the best on the site and recommended reading." The sidebar block also lists which member have recommended it under the "submit" button." The module calculates when a recommendation was made, and then reduces the value of the recommendation over time based on an admin-set initial point value.

In other words, a recommendation might have an initial value of 10 points. After four hours, that recommendation is reduced down to 8 points. After eight hours, it goes down to half its value, and after 36 hours zeroes out. This means that unless new votes keep coming in for that post being "recommended," it will after a few hours move down and off the list of recommended posts. Dynamic and neat. Other voting modules available for Drupal do not, as far as I can see, duplicate this behavior.)

In another thread I posted last week, a member here posted that he was trying to upgrade the module and had it partially working except for an call_user_func_array error that he was trying to figure out. I'm not sure how hard it is to upgrade a module with that kind of error, but I'd appreciate some information on what it would take to upgrade the module and an estimate of cost to do the upgrade.

In addition to an estimate of what it would cost to simply upgrade the existing module to work with 5.1, I'd also like an estimate on what it would cost to add two features that the existing module does not have:

1.) The ability to set different initial point values for recommendations based on roles---so, for instance, an authenticated member recommendation might be worth 10 points initially, a staff member recommendation has an initial value of 15 points, admin 20, etc.

2.) Integration with the User Points module or the Simple Karma module so that having a post recommended gives the author of the post user points.

Feel free to quote on just upgrading the module from 4.7 to 5.1, or on the cost of the upgrade plus either or both of the listed new features. Thanks.
