Hi there,
the file framework is working right, but I can not watch the video files, I always got these messages:

our browser is unable to display this multimedia content.

What should I check to see where the problem could come from?

(mp3 are working well)

hi,
what is your video file format?
it seems that u want to display a quicktime or wmv video
directly in your browser. sometimes u need a special plugin
to do that. may u can convert it to a flv file and watch it via flowplayer?

I have tried mpg and wmv, how do I set up the video converter for flv format?

hi,
goto admin/settings/file/convert/converter and look
if the converter

video/quicktime
   video/x-flv

or

video/x-ms-wmv
   video/x-flv

is installed and enabled. then goto your node a klick "Re-run conversions"
u can see all possible convertions for your node at node/XXX/formats
if something goes wrong the status for the mime/type is set to failed.

ps.: make sure u have installed flowplayer

check if u installed File Video Module
check if u installed ffmpeg on your server

installing ffmpg did the trick.

Something strange, today videos are not working, at the format are:

Format MIME Type Size State
Flash FLV file video/x-flv 208.21 KB OK
JPG image image/jpeg 9.99 KB OK
JPG image - Mid size image/jpeg 16.45 KB OK
JPG image - Thumbnail image/jpeg 4.23 KB OK
MPEG-audio Layer 3 file audio/mpeg - Failed

and at the FLV reproducer side, it appears a blank area
and the player of the original file type the same:

I have checked converters, and they were activated, just in case I reinstalled ffmpg, but nothing.

what should I look for?

No matter what video format I upload it is not displayed with it assocaited video player nor with the Flash FLV, even saying that there is no error for flash in the formats.
