Set controlled field value to default before disabling it with javascript

Fields can be disabled by Javascript (Setting: "Disable untriggered fields."). Works very well.
There is a setting "Reset untriggered fields to default values" which also works.
Using both options at the same time leads to the following behaviour from end users view:
Choose an option in a controlled field B. If you now select an option in controller field A the field B is disabled but still shows the (now no longer possible) selection value, not the default value (this is what i would like to change). After that the default value is saved properly but the user sees a wrong value while editing and saving.
Any work arounds for that?
